Q: What’s happening on October 23rd?
A: Chester's Halloween Carnival is back! On Friday, October 23rd, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, downtown Chester will be transformed into a festive Halloween wonderland. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with a children’s costume parade, thrilling carnival games, and much more.
Q: Should adults wear costumes?
A: Of course!! Dressing up isn’t just for the kids—adults are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing their favorite Halloween costumes.
Q: Will there be food options?
A: Absolutely! There will be plenty of delicious food and drinks available for purchase downtown. Bring your appetite! CES PTO will serve hot dogs and chicken nuggets, along with a selection of Halloween Carnival treats and drinks. Local restaurants will be open. The following establishments will also be offering street food:
- Pattaconk: chili
- Otto: pizza by the slice in front of River Tavern
- Three Fates: brisket sliders, Zombie cocktails, and Witches Potion Punch
- Village Bistro: pretzels with pimento cheese and loaded baked potato soup
- Villager will be open: chips and dip, bacon and corn chowder
- Simons: cookies, cider and pretzels
Q: What should I bring?
A: Bring cash for food and game tickets. And don’t forget—parent supervision is required throughout the event. Each ticket will be $2.00 (12 tickets for $20). Unlimited games bracelet available for $25 for first child, $20 for additional children in a family. PTO foods will be purchased with tickets.
